Join Out & Equal Seattle For End-of-Life Planning Workshop

Out & Equal Seattle invites you to attend this year's final Professional/Personal Development Workshop. Joy Pothan from Evergreen-Washelli will be providing us with a presentation on end-of-life planning.

What if the person you have spent your life with died yesterday? Where would you be today?

Where would their other family members be? Who will make decisions for you and your loved one after your deaths? What will your grave marker read? Will it have the names of you and your spouse, just like every other long-time married couple represented in the cemetery?

Your relationship is worthy of being remembered. Our community faces unique challenges that the rest of the general population does not. Given our current legal issues, a will and domestic partnership may not be enough.

Are you prepared? Come find out. Join us on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 6-8pm.. To bring a little levity to the subject, the workshop will be held in the balcony of The Chapel, located on 1600, Melrose Ave., Seattle. The workshop is open to all and free of charge. We hope you can join us.
