Pride Foundation Presents Estate Planning Workshop

Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people often have particular needs when it comes to estate planning. Couples and families, for example, face complications because same-sex marriages are not legally recognized and individuals may not be able to rely on their families to understand their wishes. LGBT people also have special opportunities, including opportunities to create meaningful and permanent legacies to support our community.

This session will be a workshop looking at basic estate planning issues and techniques for LGBT individuals, couples, and families wishing to provide for loved ones and maximize their charitable interests. These techniques will also be of value to unmarried opposite sex couples. This session will discuss straightforward gifting techniques and more advanced estate planning.

A solicitation for funds will not be made at this event and there is no fee to attend.
