GSBA Luncheon: The Commercial Closet

Director of "The Comercial Closet," Mike Wilke, will be back at October's lunch to discuss which new commercials and companies are doing a great job of advertising to the LGBT community, and those that have missed their mark. Come see the commercials and images that companies are using to target the LGBT dollar. Commercial Closet advocates for advertising that respects the diversity of all, specifically gender identity/expression and sexual orientation, for a more accepting society and better business results. We see LGBT inclusion and equality as commonplace in society through effective advertising.

Commercial Closet Association is not a pressure group or watchdog on advertising. We do not attempt to enforce rules or represent that a single "GLBT point of view" exists, given the great diversity of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender population. And we do not seek to embarrass advertisers, organize protests against them or their advertising, or force them to do anything except expand their understanding and awareness of GLBT sensitivity in all advertising using business rationales.
