Lambert House, Seattle’s center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally youth, is organizing “Rainbow Crew”, an exciting new activities group called for youth ages 11-14! The group provides LGBTQ youth and youth from LGBTQ families with a safe space to explore identity and socialize through activities.
The group will convene one Saturday per month during a trial four month period starting on Saturday, February 16th. The first four groups will include pottery painting, a visit to the Seattle Center, lunch and a tour of Capitol Hill and a Storm women’s basketball game. Group facilitators, Cori Jaeger and Gil Rich, have many years of experience as camp counselors, educators and challenge course facilitators.
The group requires parent/guardian permission and cost of activities will be paid by parent/guardian. Scholarships available. No one turned away for lack of $. For more information, contact Kristina@lamberthouse.org or call (206) 322-2515 ext. *814.
